My photoshoot with JoAunn was everything I needed it to be for that moment & period in my life. I had just cut all my hair off and was about to move across the country. I never do anything without intention and JoAunn picked up on that. He waited to schedule the shoot until after I got my hair done because deep down he understood that it meant something. We’ve known each other since middle school, but when he saw me, he saw the new me. Before we did the shoot, we talked about the transitions and stages we were in. He, again, understood where I was & where I was going. Because of that, he captured my essence perfectly. He captured how I felt inside and that was everything.
